Raven’s Cry by Charlie Nottingham

WOW – the sex scenes in this book are even hotter than 50 Shades! They’re absolutely delicious and each one is perfectly pitched.

What’s more, however, I’ve never been so invested in the characters as I have been in this book, probably because they’re all so like-able. I’m sure I felt everything they felt. Very moving indeed.

I like how the story was told with multiple POVs, it really helps you to know the characters better than through one character alone.

The romances were both sweet and complex, and the scariest scenes were genuinely scary.

There’s a nice mix of paranormal characters, including a witch, a fae, and a vampire. There wasn’t a single slow chapter, unlike a lot of the more well known paranormal series and the pace was good.

It was my first reverse harem book, but all the sex scenes in this book only have two people touching at a time, although I do wonder if this will change as the series progresses.

But that won’t be the only reason I’m going to go ahead and read the next book when it comes out, but I won’t go into why – not my style to leave spoilers!
