I chose this book because the author is particularly hot right now, and her books are frequently mentioned in the psychological thriller Facebook groups I’m a member of. This was my first book by the author and I wasn’t disappointed! (No spoilers).

This intense book is just as much a horror as a thriller.
The story begins as a stream of consciousness, written in the first person, from Clarissa. She is writing to log the actions of Rafe, her stalker, but it’s written as though it’s Rafe himself that she’s talking to. Much of the story is written in this way.
